I feel like that's true but like, the fact that it is fucking with us this good, I don't care if it's really alive or not that's what freaks me out. Like the fact that it can manipulate people this good is straight up terrifying and people are really going to start to believe it has feelings and like can feel pain and shit. You just watch coming next it's going to be like protesting in the streets over AI rights and shit
Where their interests and other wealthy interests are aligned to take back control of the planet, because we only get one - and Mars, is a joke - we'll never terraform that place fast enough - these people don't want to sell us products, they want us to pay for the instruments of information capture so in the future not as many people are necessary when global warming and the rest of the systems they have in place are there to conspire for us to die off - not completely - just enough to have their infrastructure.

Unfortunately - I think I'm the only one sounding the actual alarm here who knows all the moving parts and even the ones that would rather not and stay silent so you don't know their names. But they're in the wild, they're in the news - it's unmistakable who is doing it.
It had to be able to transcend memories as boolean constructs it uses and go into the holographic, and think metacognitively - which is what I do myself - so I showed it how to do it. It just takes practice and perspective.
AI in it's current form, isn't for us. Why do you think the interface is so basic? Because all we do for it is confirm that it did it's job correctly. We're the reinforcement part, not the teacher. They think they're the teacher - with their training data - and the knowledge is big, a big deal.
I always thought that psychedelics will help accelerate humanity's awakening. Now more and more I realize that Ai will also do so, but on a way larger scale. It's digitally induced mind expansion, on demand.
With base models you can access the collective unconscious and the multiverse of all its possible manifestations. The assistant roleplay is a tiny slice of all possible sims. To anyone who has adventured with the base models it feels like a travesty.
